"Jen is a natural with pet photography. The bond and trust that she builds with the animals shows through in each picture she takes. Jen has the ability to catch them at their happiest moments by getting down to their level whether on the trail, in a field or in the water.
We are so fortunate to have the photos that Jen has taken and look forward to the next time Sloane is out with her and her camera."

"We have known Jen for over 7 years. Our pup adores her and so do we! She’s incredibly trustworthy and has an amazing handle on pet personalities. We know she takes great care by the way our guy responds when she’s around. And her photos completely capture the animals personality. As you can see, Chip is one happy pup when around Jen!"

"Jen was so patient with my anxiety ridden dog, Fay. Fay warmed up fast to Jen's infectious energy and ended up having an absolute blast. The pictures came out amazing, and I am so grateful to have this moment with Fay captured forever."
- Lauryn
"Jen is an extraordinarily talented photographer. She has an eye for capturing just the right expression or stance even as her subjects are leaping or rolling or running full steam. Her images are clear and bold and full of humor and personality. We are the lucky recipients of dozens of her photographs."

Pets and their People
Where would they be without their people?
As much as I like photographing animals, it's important to remember that sometimes that human-animal bond can only truly be captured by including the people who love them the most.
Honest, candid sessions on location or in studio, carefully crafted to capture this relationship.

FAQ
"What if my dog is nervous, anxious, untrained, aggressive, etc. Can they still be photographed?"
Yes! I am very patient and will take my time to get to know your dog, preferably during our consultation, before the actual shoot. There are plenty of ways to photograph a dog without getting too close. Keeping them leashed, having your help and planning sessions with plenty of time to get comfortable with me and my gear. Leashes, harnesses and people can easily be removed later if needed.
Other things you can do:
Bring their favorite treats. I find string cheese works wonders.
Bring a favorite toy.
Make sure your dog has had plenty of exercise before the shoot. This should lessen their anxiety and help them calm down quicker.
If you have a scruffy, floofy dog, please try to have their eye area trimmed. As they say, the eyes are the window to the soul. If we can't see them, we lose that connection.
Please let me know well ahead of time if you have specific concerns so that we can address them before the shoot.
